Our Treatment Approach

Being properly prepared for treatment helps your provider ease the process along and gives you the best results possible. It’s important to follow our pre- and post-care instructions because we have carefully curated them to ensure our patients get the most out of their hair restoration in Southlake.

To further personalize care, our approach to hair restoration may include advanced diagnostic tools and functional medicine insights. This can include:

Our process involves a deeper evaluation of your internal systems. At this time, your provider will also ask about your lifestyle patterns, such as stress and sleep. This may include assessing your hormone levels, metabolic health, and nutritional status. We also offer the TrichoTest by Fagron Genomics. It is a personalized genetic test that analyzes 48 different genes pertaining to alopecia (hair loss) and treatment response to help identify the most effective ingredients and therapies for hair restoration based on your unique DNA.

Based on the testing, your provider can then develop a customized treatment plan that is most effective for successfully treating your hair loss. Treatments you may respond to include minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride, anti-inflammatory treatments, nutritional supplements, oral compounds and topical therapies.

This targeted therapy helps reduce the “trial and error” treatment approach. If indicated, your provider may prescribe hormone replacement therapy.

By identifying the underlying contributors to hair thinning or loss, your provider can design a more targeted and effective treatment plan, one that supports both immediate concerns and long-term hair health.

Another doctor who attended medical school with her told me, “She is very smart, you can trust anything she tells you,” and indeed I do. I went to her depressed, lethargic (could hardly get out of bed), no energy, no stamina, feeling arthritic, failing memory, aggressive at times, and the list goes on & on. I live 100 miles away, so every appointment after the first was via telephone conference (very convenient.) Dr. Berutti is very personable, pays constant attention to details, sincerely interested in what she can do to give you a dynamic life!
