Melanie Martin, PA-C, Dr. Berutti’s Physician Assistant, has been practicing medicine for 30 years. About halfway through her career, she realized that the “conventional medicine” approach wasn’t always meeting her patients’ health goals and that the gaps in that system did not promote wellness and optimal health. She decided she could better help people by using a more integrative approach, so 14 years ago, she made a career change.
Melanie believes that the key to truly helping patients is to spend plenty of time with them in order to have ample opportunity to listen to their needs. She incorporates a collaborative approach, so everyone feels involved, educated, and empowered with their personal health care.
Melanie wasn’t born in Texas, but like most transplants, got here as soon as she could! She moved to Fort Worth at a young age and has stayed in the area ever since. She’s a lover of the Arts and is a member of the Kimbell Art Museum. Melanie also enjoys spending time with her 20-year-old son, who attends Texas A&M University.
Dr. Berutti and our staff are thrilled to have Melanie as part of our team! Not only is she an experienced Physician Assistant, but she is also considered an expert in her field, having provided lectures to her peers on subjects including hormone balancing, nutrition, weight loss, and gut inflammation.
Additionally, Melanie also offers well-woman, well-man, and acute care visits for existing patients.
